I grew up in a strict Amish home in Minnesota, where church attendance was mandatory, and we lived without electricity or many modern conveniences. As a child, I longed to do good and find my way to heaven. When my older brother left the Amish community and was saved through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, I saw the transformation in his life and wanted that for myself. Three years later, at 16, I ran away from my Amish community and surrendered my life to Jesus. God lifted me from the pit and set my feet on solid ground, and now my heart burns to share that same life-changing truth with others.
– 1 Peter 2:9
Our Mission: “To fulfill the Great Commission by preaching the Gospel, healing the sick, and empowering believers to live in Christ’s authority and power.”
We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19). These three are co-equal and co-eternal, fulfilling distinct but harmonious roles in the work of redemption and the governance of creation.
Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience, bringing spiritual and physical death (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6). Redemption is available only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who shed His blood for the remission of sins. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:12-21).
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21). It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and conduct, revealing God’s will to mankind.
We believe that hell is a real place of eternal punishment for the wicked and those who reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Revelation 20:11-15, Matthew 25:41-46). Those who die in sin are eternally separated from God, while the righteous will dwell in the presence of the Lord forever.
Water baptism by immersion is a direct command of Christ and an outward expression of the believer’s identification with His death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4). It is a public declaration of faith and obedience to God.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost as an experience distinct from salvation, given to believers for power, boldness, and supernatural ministry (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4). The evidence of this baptism is speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4, Acts 19:6).
Healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and is available to every believer today through faith in God’s Word (Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:16-17, 1 Peter 2:24). We believe in the laying on of hands, anointing with oil, and the prayer of faith for healing.
We believe that signs, wonders, and miracles confirm the preaching of the Gospel, as demonstrated throughout the ministry of Jesus and the early Church (Mark 16:17-18, Acts 5:12). The supernatural power of God is active today through the operation of the Holy Spirit in healing, deliverance, and the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all believers at Christ’s return. The dead in Christ will rise first, followed by those who are alive and remain, to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54). This resurrection is the blessed hope of the Church.
We believe in the imminent, personal return of Jesus Christ for His Church, known as the Rapture, followed by His visible second coming to establish His millennial reign on the earth (Titus 2:13, Matthew 24:30, Revelation 19:11-16).
Sanctification is the process by which believers are set apart for God’s purpose, being made holy through the work of the Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14). It is both an immediate work at salvation and a continual process of spiritual growth in Christ.
The Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all born-again believers who have been redeemed by Christ’s blood and are called to fulfill the Great Commission (Ephesians 1:22-23, Matthew 28:18-20). The Church functions as the family of God, equipped to preach the Gospel, make disciples, and minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that every believer is called to fulfill the Great Commission by preaching the Gospel to all nations, making disciples, and demonstrating the power of God (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-20). Evangelism is at the heart of DGEM, with a focus on reaching the lost through crusades, media, and personal witness.
We believe that God has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the Church for the work of ministry and to bring believers into maturity in Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13). These offices function today to advance God’s kingdom on the earth.
We believe that God desires to bless His people spiritually, physically, and financially, providing for all their needs according to His riches in glory (3 John 2, Philippians 4:19, Malachi 3:10-11). Biblical prosperity enables believers to further the work of the Gospel and live as a testimony of God’s goodness.
We believe that through Jesus Christ, believers have been given spiritual authority over sin, sickness, demons, and every work of the enemy (Luke 10:19, Mark 16:17-18). Through faith in the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit, we are called to walk in victory and enforce the triumph of Christ.
We believe in living a life of holiness, set apart for God, in reverence and obedience to His Word (2 Corinthians 7:1, 1 Peter 1:15-16). The fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom and leads to a life that honors God in all things.
We believe that God has designed marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6). Sexual relations are a gift from God, meant to be enjoyed exclusively within the bounds of this union (Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 7:2). Any form of sexual activity outside of biblical marriage—including fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and lustful desires—is contrary to God’s will and is considered sin (Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, instituted by God (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Marriage reflects Christ’s relationship with the Church and is foundational to strong families and societies.
We believe in the power of prayer and fasting as essential spiritual disciplines that bring breakthrough, divine guidance, and intimacy with God (Matthew 6:6, Matthew 6:16-18, Acts 13:2-3). Prayer aligns believers with God’s will and releases His supernatural power on the earth.
We believe that angels are ministering spirits sent by God to assist believers, protect the righteous, and execute divine assignments (Hebrews 1:14, Psalm 91:11-12, Acts 5:19). Though we do not worship angels, we recognize their role in advancing God’s kingdom.
We believe in the unity of all true believers, regardless of denomination, who are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ (John 17:21-23, Ephesians 4:3-6). We work together with the global Church to see the Gospel preached and God’s kingdom established.
