Reuben & JessieRevival in the Barn

From a Seed to a Debt-Free Harvest

In July, during Revival in the Barn, we had a Saturday night service with only eight people in attendance, but God was doing something far bigger than what could be seen. That night, Reuben and Jessie sowed a truck into the ministry, believing God for property and a home for their family. We had also been believing God for a nicer vehicle, so this was a great breakthrough for us and the ministry.

Reuben and Jessie owned property they had previously considered selling for $350,000 but had been advised that because of the rural location, they would likely need to price it around $325,000 for a quick sale. Then, one Saturday night in August, they simply placed a handwritten notice in the phone shack on their property that the Amish in their community used: Property for Sale, $375,000.

By Monday morning, people were already knocking on their door! One man initially offered $300,000, but after they declined, he came back with $350,000 and offered to pay the 10% down payment that very day. It was exactly the amount Reuben and Jessie had been believing for!

Now they are able to purchase 26 acres and a home from Reuben’s parents, move their newer furnace, water heater, and appliances into the house, renovate it, and come out of the entire transition debt-free!

And there is another side to this testimony: Reuben’s parents had also sown a seed at Revival in the Barn, specifically believing God for financial increase. Through this sale, they are seeing their own prayer answered, while Reuben and Jessie step into what they had been believing God for.

Two families sowed in faith, and God brought together one incredible harvest. Praise the Lord!

Brian & NaomiMidland, Michigan

God Opened the Windows of Heaven

Brian and Naomi took their children to Invasion Youth Conference at Brian’s home church in Midland, Michigan, pastored by Dr. Mark T. Barclay — the same conference where they first met. Traveling with children is expensive, and the trip was a step of faith for their family. The Sunday night before they left, Naomi felt the Lord speak to her.

“I am a giver and a sower,” Naomi explained, “and I felt the Lord telling me to sow the lunch money we had put aside for Monday. I simply obeyed. It was significant to us, but that was what I felt led to do.”

They attended the entire conference and helped the ministry however they could. Then God began blessing them in ways they had never expected. After the Sunday-morning service, Pastor Barclay invited their family to spend the afternoon with him — and asked Brian, “Why don’t you help me preach tonight?”

“I was not expecting that at all,” Brian said. “I had the opportunity to stand before my home church and love on them. They loved on me, and Pastor and I shared the pulpit. It was an amazing time.”

That same afternoon, Naomi received a text: someone wanted to pay for their entire hotel stay. “They told us, ‘Just tell us what it costs. We are paying for it in full,’” Naomi recalled. “Then someone else gave us a card and told us to fill our vehicle with gasoline for the trip home. All of this was God!” Their rental vehicle price even went down by $300, and they were upgraded from a van to a Platinum Ford Expedition at no additional cost.

Brian and Naomi have seen God honor their giving throughout their marriage. During the first week they were married, Brian leaned over during church and whispered, “Let’s give $500.” The money had been given to them as wedding gifts, and Naomi’s “bean-counter mind” initially thought they should have discussed it before the service. However, she recognized that she had married a man of faith who was a giver and a sower of seed, and she agreed.

“Whenever we give, we are in agreement,” Naomi shared. “We bear witness together. Brian trusts me, and I trust him when it comes to sowing. We have seen the harvest come again and again.”

But the greatest blessing of the trip was not financial. During the conference, their daughter Ava heard testimonies of people being miraculously healed, and faith rose in her heart — and she received her healing. “When I think about what could have happened if we had stayed home,” Brian said, “Ava might still be wearing her glasses.”

“If we had not obeyed the Lord and sown that seed, I believe those miracles that followed would not have happened,” Naomi added. “God opened the windows of Heaven and poured out a blessing we did not even know was coming. It was amazing!”
